Meet The Team

Owner/Lead Instructor
Jessica Pellegrino
Jess spent her entire adult life as a full-time registered nurse, dedicating herself to caring for others, while quietly nurturing a deep passion for group fitness on the side. After moving to the area in fall 2024, she felt a pull she couldn’t ignore—a calling to step fully into that passion and create a space for her new community.
Black Rose Cycling was born from that leap. Built on the belief that even in the darkest seasons, there is always a light to be found, she set out to build that place where people could walk in as they are and leave feeling stronger, lighter, and more connected. More than just a cycling studio, Black Rose is a community—a space where you can lose yourself in the music, find yourself in the process, and be reminded that you’re never alone in the room.
It’s a home to build friendships, to laugh until it hurts, to cry when you need to, and to feel seen, supported, and included every single ride.

Instructor
Becca Bollinger
Becca found her love for cycling when Black Rose opened its doors in 2025, quickly turning a new hobby into a true passion. With a background in dance and music, she builds beat-driven rides that blend heavy hills, playful choreography, and music from almost every genre (country might be the one exception—sorry!). A software tech nerd by day and the studio’s unofficial IT department by night, she brings both brains and energy to every class. When she’s not on the bike, she’s throwing a ball or going on walks with her Boston Terrier, Regi and teaching dance classes at The School of Music and Dance in Abbottstown, PA.
Whether you’re chasing strength, rhythm, or a little bit of both, Becca’s classes deliver a challenging, joy-filled experience that keeps you coming back for more.

Instructor
Sarah Sterner
Sarah relocated to the area a few years ago after growing up outside of Philadelphia and spending nearly six years in Tennessee — which explains her blended accent and love for both “wooder” and “y’all.” She is a proud wife, dog mom, and soon-to-be boy mom who finds joy in sunshine, country music, and 2000s pop classics.
By day, Sarah is a second-grade teacher, and by night, she brings that same energy and heart into the studio. She believes movement — especially at Black Rose — strengthens the mind, body, and soul, and she’s passionate about creating a space where everyone feels supported, empowered, and part of something bigger.

Instructor
Shay Miller
Shay is a lover of all things fashion, beauty, concerts & traveling. She is a former dancer, a dog mom & enjoys fishing. By day, she’s a retail store manager at Buckle & a personal stylist, helping others look and feel their absolute best. By night, she steps into her role as an instructor at Black Rose, where she leads a room of individuals with truly unmatched energy. With a heart for helping others and a natural instinct to lead, Shay is passionate about inspiring confidence, building connections, elevating everyone around her & being their biggest fan!

Substitute Instructor
Kassidy Rebert
Kassidy is a student at Penn State University studying Human Development and Family Studies. As a cycle instructor, she loves to bring motivation, positivity, and a strong sense of community to every ride. With a passion for fitness and helping others feel their best, She enjoys creating playlists and workouts that challenge riders while keeping the vibe fun and empowering. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned rider, her classes are designed to push you past your limits and leave you feeling stronger, more confident, and ready to take on anything. And, make sure you are prepared to hear Sabrina Carpenter A LOT :)

Media/Design
Ella Bickers
Ella is the creative force and right hand behind Black Rose Cycling. At just 20, she carries an old soul with a perspective far beyond her years, bringing heart, vision, and intention into everything she touches.
She’s the heartbeat of Black Rose, the one behind the scenes turning ideas into something you can feel the moment you walk through the door. Bright, wildly creative, and deeply intuitive, she has a way of capturing the energy of the room and translating it into something powerful and real.
Whether she’s designing, creating, or riding, she brings a light that cuts through even the darkest moments. She lifts the room simply by being in it—and when it comes to the bike, she can hit the beat with the best of them.
